The ongoing diversification drive of the primary petrochemical product mix in Saudi Arabia’s petrochemical industry would offer a wide range of new secondary products. These secondary products are expected to serve as the foundation for more complex tertiary products. This increase in differentiated chemicals, and the wider production base will transform the Saudi Arabian petrochemicals sector into one featuring a broad range of new products and a heightened level of operational, commercial and strategic sophistication.  This in turn generates a wide array of new opportunities for investment in specialty chemicals.

At PetroBaas, we are currently focusing on projects for manufacturing of specialty petrochemicals and specialty inorganic chemicals. However, due to the confidential nature of these projects details can not be made available here at this stage.

PetroBaas’ first specialty chemical manufacturing plant is expected to be in operation by Mid 2010.
